\ud83e\udd87Guest DJ Anubis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Benannt nach dem \u00e4gyptischen Gott der Totenriten und Mumifizierung, steht DJ Anubis f\u00fcr Industrial, Aggrotech und harte elektronische Kl\u00e4nge. So wie Anubis die Seelen ins Jenseits f\u00fchrte, leitet DJ Anubis die Tanzfl\u00e4chen durch d\u00fcstere, treibende Soundlandschaften.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Aufzulegen begann er mit dem Ziel, der Szene kompromisslosen, druckvollen Sound zu geben und die dunklen, energiegeladenen Kl\u00e4nge zur\u00fcck auf die Tanzfl\u00e4chen zu bringen. Er hat bereits bei bekannten Events wie dem legend\u00e4ren Mittwoch vor Auffahrt und dem Schwarzen Ball aufgelegt und setzt sich als Mitorganisator der Abyss Calling daf\u00fcr ein, dass der harte Elektro-Sound seinen festen Platz in der Szene beh\u00e4lt.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

DJ Medea benannt nach der ber\u00fcchtigten Zauberin der griechischen Mythologie (Argonauten Epos)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Als Hohepriesterin der Mondg\u00f6ttin Hekate ist sie der Schl\u00fcssel zwischen der Unterwelt der Toten und der Welt der Lebenden.
Ihre Magie sind die dunklen Beats, \u00fcber welche das memento mori und die dunkle feminine Kraft der G\u00f6ttin transportiert.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Vor einem Jahr begann sie damit ihre Leidenschaft zu teilen und hat mehreren events (von Nocturnal Reverie) in ihrer Heimatstadt Basel aufgelegt. Am liebsten spielt sie Industrial, Dark Electro und Aggrotech mit Message und Vielfalt.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Geboren in der okkulten und dekadenten Stadt der Dichter und Hafenarbeiter (Triest, Norditalien), aber seit fast einem Jahrzehnt eingeb\u00fcrgert in Winterthur, gr\u00fcndete DJ Bananafishbones 2019 das Partylabel Dark Disco, um die ohnehin schon lebendige Winterthurer Musikszene noch eine Spur dunkler zu gestalten.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Seit Mai 2022 geh\u00f6ren Dark Disco Partys zum vielf\u00e4ltigen Programm des bekannten Albani und seit 2023 bringt das Projekt Dark Disco Festival zweimal im Jahr Schweizer und internationale Acts auf die B\u00fchne.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Als Resident-DJ von Dark Disco mischt Bananafishbones gerne Post Punk, Indie Rock, Dark Wave und Synth Wave bis hin zu EBM und Dark Electro, jedoch stark vermischt mit Italo Disco und 80er Jahre Pop Atmosph\u00e4re.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ihr DJ-Name ist eine Hommage an die Wurzeln der Schwarzes Szene, angelehnt an den eigenartigen Song von The Cure, der selbst eine Anspielung auf Salingers “Ein perfekter Tag f\u00fcr Bananafish” ist. In der Kurzgeschichte erz\u00e4hlt der Protagonist “das sehr tragische Leben” des fiktiven Bananafish, kurz bevor er sich in den Kopf schiesst: die Fische fressen sich an Bananen, ihrer Lieblingsspeise, satt, werden zu gross, um aus ihren Fressl\u00f6chern zu entkommen, und sterben.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd87Guest DJ Anubis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Named after the Egyptian god of funeral rites and mummification, DJ Anubis stands for industrial, aggrotech and hard electronic sounds. Just as Anubis led the souls to the afterlife, DJ Anubis leads the dancefloors through dark, driving soundscapes.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

He started DJing with the aim of giving the scene uncompromising, powerful sound and bringing dark, energetic sounds back to the dancefloors. He has already played at well-known events such as the legendary Mittwoch vor Auffahrt and the Schwarzer Ball and, as co-organizer of Abyss Calling, is committed to ensuring that the hard electro sound retains its firm place in the scene.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For all those who not only want to dance, but also feel the bass.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DJ Medea is named after the infamous sorceress of Greek mythology (Argonauts epic)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As high priestess of the moon goddess Hecate, she is the key between the underworld of the dead and the world of the living.
Her magic is the dark beats that carry the memento mori and the dark feminine power of the goddess.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She started sharing her passion a year ago and has played several events (by Nocturnal Reverie) in her hometown Basel. She prefers to play industrial, dark electro and aggrotech with message and diversity.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd87Resident DJ Bananafishbones<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Born in the occult and decadent city of poets and dock workers (Trieste, northern Italy), but a naturalized citizen of Winterthur for almost a decade, DJ Bananafishbones founded the Dark Disco party label in 2019 to add a touch of darkness to Winterthur’s already vibrant music scene.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since May 2022, Dark Disco parties have been part of the varied program of the well-known Albani and since 2023, the Dark Disco Festival project has brought Swiss and international acts to the stage twice a year.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As Dark Disco’s resident DJ, Bananafishbones likes to mix post punk, indie rock, dark wave and synth wave through to EBM and dark electro, but with a strong mix of Italo disco and 80s pop atmosphere.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Their DJ name is a tribute to the roots of the black scene, based on the peculiar song by The Cure, which itself is an allusion to Salinger’s \u201cA Perfect Day for Bananafish\u201d. In the short story, the protagonist recounts \u201cthe very tragic life\u201d of the fictional Bananafish shortly before he shoots himself in the head: the fish gorge themselves on bananas, their favorite food, grow too big to escape from their feeding holes, and die.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
