Unter der Federf\u00fchrung von Mastermind Jason Corbett, \u2018sitzt\u2019 die Band ACTORS mit ihrer Stilrichtung wortw\u00f6rtlich \u2018auf den Schultern der Titanen\u2019. Das Kunstwort: \u201ePost-Post-Punk\u201c beschreibt den Musikstil ausserordentlich gut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In einer Zeit, in der wir uns eher auf das Wesentliche besinnen, denn uns auszubreiten – sodass Fans und Musiksuchende in dieser wunderbaren Nische ein Zuhause finden k\u00f6nnen, versucht Corbett, Sounds und Produktionstechniken zu schaffen, die man normalerweise nicht in einem Starterpaket an Klischee-Plugins und Samples findet. Unterst\u00fctzt von einer stoischen und doch verspielten Backing-Band, zeigt der Frontmann bei seinen Auftritten und Aufnahmen einen Enthusiasmus, den man in diesem, seinem bevorzugten Genre, nicht oft zu sehen und h\u00f6ren bekommt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Betrachtungen der Liebe, der Lust und dem menschlichen Zustand eines leidenschaftlichen, distanzierten Erz\u00e4hlers. SOFT VEIN, das elektronische Projekt des Songwriters\/Multi-Instrumentalisten Justin Chamberlain, mischt Elemente von Darkwave, Industrial, EBM und Elektro-Pop mit dem Ziel, die Dualit\u00e4t zu umarmen und einen Sound zu schaffen, der gleichermassen von Romantik und Zynismus, von Nostalgie und Modernit\u00e4t, vom warmen Schmerz der Liebe, des Verlangens und der kalten Realit\u00e4t von Sehnsucht, Einsamkeit und Verlust inspiriert ist.
SOFT VEIN wurde 2022 gegr\u00fcndet und deb\u00fctierte mit den beiden Singles \u201eGIVEUPTHEGHOST\u201c und \u201eVIOLENTIA\u201c, die in der Darkwave-Szene von Los Angeles eine kultige Fangemeinde entwickelt hat, die immer weiter gewachsen ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach ausgew\u00e4hlten Tourneedaten, darunter Headliner-Shows, Festivals und namhafte Support-Slots, kehrte SOFT VEIN ins Studio zur\u00fcck, um sein zweites Album \u201eTHROUGH BLINDS\u201c aufzunehmen, von dem drei Singles ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurden: \u201eGOD WHISPERS\u201c, \u201eFALLING\u201c und zuletzt \u201eGREY SPACE\u201c, die sowohl auf den Tanzfl\u00e4chen als auch auf der B\u00fchne begeistert aufgenommen wurden. SOFT VEIN tourte k\u00fcrzlich mit Twin Tribes auf deren letzter Etappe der Europatournee, einschliesslich eines Auftritts in Winterthur auf der renommierten und beliebten Albani B\u00fchne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Schweizer Power-Trio wurde Ende 2022 gegr\u00fcndet und hat sich zu einer festen Gr\u00f6sse im Bereich des d\u00fcsteren Post-Punk entwickelt. Mit gr\u00fcblerischen Melodien und unerbittlicher Punk-Energie. Die Band verwendet f\u00fcr ihren Musik-Stil die Bezeichnung: Dark-Punk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung ihrer Deb\u00fctsingle \u201eSurrender\u201c im Jahr 2023 und ihrer letzten Single Auskopplungen \u201eRejection\u201c und \u201eDevil\u201c im Jahr 2024, sind Turncoats auf der Suche nach B\u00fchnen und Kellern in der ganzen Schweiz, um ihre d\u00fcsteren Kreationen in Vorbereitung auf ihr Deb\u00fctalbum zu pr\u00e4sentieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Larsovitch verweben die \u2018punkige\u2019 Strenge des griechischen Minimal-Synth mit der introspektiven Melancholie des \u00f6stlichen Post-Punk. Larsovitch und Synthetiseurs umarmen die dekadenten Zeiten mit dem einzigen Ziel, die Massen zu Dancefloor-Beats, Chiptune, Punk und New Wave zum Tanzen zu bringen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die erste EP, \u03a3\u03a5\u039d\u0398 (Synthe auf Griechisch), wurde im Februar 2024 \u00fcber Conicle Records & Ascese Records ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die schiere Armada an analogen Synthesizern und \u2018Maschinen\u2019 kommt live ohne die B\u00fcrde jeglicher digitalen Technik aus. Die litanei-artige Gitarre, die von dreisprachigem Gesang begleitet wird, w\u00e4rmt die Schaltkreise der Siliziuminstrumente w\u00e4hrend der kathartischen Konzerte auf und macht Platz f\u00fcr melodische und pessimistische Melodien, die sich allm\u00e4hlich zur rohen Energie des Punk aufbauen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jason Corbett-led outfit ACTORS are standing on the shoulders of titans with their brand of the style, and could almost be referred to as \u00ab post-post-punk \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a period where we narrowcast rather than broadcast so fans and new music-seekers can firmly plant themselves in a niche, Corbett takes swings at creating sounds and production techniques that one would not usually find in a starter package of clich\u00e9 plugins and samples. Backed by a stoic yet playful backing band, the frontman shows an enthusiasm while performing and recording that often isn\u2019t seen or heard in his preferred genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observations on love, lust and the human condition from a passionately detached narrator. SOFT VEIN, the electronic project of songwriter\/multi-instrumentalist Justin Chamberlain, blends elements of darkwave, industrial, EBM and electro-pop, with the aim to embrace duality, creating a sound equally inspired by romance and cynicism, by nostalgia and modernity, by the warm ache of love, desire and yearning – and the cold reality of longing, loneliness and loss.
SOFT VEIN was formed in 2022, debuting with a pair of singles, \u2018GIVEUPTHEGHOST\u2019 and \u2018VIOLENTIA\u2019, garnering a cult following in the Los Angeles darkwave scene and that would continue to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After performing select tour dates, including headline shows, festivals and notable support slots, SOFT VEIN returned to the studio to record his sophomore album \u2018THROUGH BLINDS\u2019, of which 3 singles have been released, GOD WHISPERS, FALLING and lastly GRAY SPACE, being enthusiastically received both on the dancefloors as well as on stage. SOFT VEIN has recently toured with Twin Tribes in their last leg of the European Tour, including a date in Winterthur just last November on the renowned and beloved Albani\u2019s stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established in late 2022, the Swiss power trio emerged as a commanding force in the dark post-punk realm. With brooding melodies and relentless punk energy. They define themselves as Dark-Punk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having released their debut single in 2023 “Surrender” and their latest singles “Rejection” and “Devil” in 2024, the band is on the hunt for stages and basements across Switzerland to share their gloomy creations, in preparation of their debut Album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
