Die maskierte Mystik von Kontravoid h\u00e4lt sich seit \u00fcber einem Jahrzehnt. Seit der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung seiner selbstbetitelten LP im Jahr 2012 hat Cameron Findlay, in Kanada geborene und in LA lebende K\u00fcnstler,  Dark Pop mit einer einzigartigen Komposition perfektioniert, die sich eloquent durch die Genres EBM, Electro und Goth bewegt. Seine vergangenen Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen wie \u201eToo Deep\u201c (2019) und \u201eFaceless\u201c (2021) haben keine Probleme, die verkommensten Ecken nebliger, stroboskopbeleuchteter Clubs zu erreichen und lassen dem H\u00f6rer keine andere Wahl als zu tanzen. Auf der B\u00fchne fordert Kontravoid die Aufmerksamkeit des Publikums mit seiner kraftvollen Performance, indem er seine spezielle Mischung aus harten Beats und seinen charakteristischen rhythmischen Basslinien meisterhaft ausbalanciert. Er tourte bereits mit Boy Harsher, ADULT, Drab Majesty, Buzz Kull und Hide und hat Remixe f\u00fcr Bands wie Schwefelgelb und Kris Baha gemacht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im M\u00e4rz 2024 ver\u00f6ffentlichte Kontravoid ein neues Album, \u201eDetachment\u201c. Ein paar Monate sp\u00e4ter trat er erneut beim Wave Gothik Treffen in Leipzig vor einer riesigen Menge auf, die sich seit dem letzten Auftritt beim gleichen Festival 2019 verdoppelt hatte. Als wahrer Mann der Schatten ist Kontravoid eine unvergleichliche Gr\u00f6sse in der Dark-Electronic-Szene. Seit letztem Jahr tourt und promotet er sein Album sowohl in der EU als auch in den USA, und diesen Fr\u00fchling kommt er f\u00fcr eine weitere Runde zur\u00fcck, endlich auch in die Ostschweiz!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das schweizerisch-franz\u00f6sische Projekt GJ106 ist ein echtes Produkt seiner Zeit und liefert einen de-sakralen und entschieden modernen EBM, der die Menge in Wallung bringt. Bei GJ106 gibt es keinen Stillstand hinter den Maschinen. Jeder Auftritt ist ein einzigartiges, intensives und dynamisches Erlebnis, bei dem Tanz auf totale Synthiebeherrschung trifft. Sein eiskalter, nach DAF* duftender Techno hat die Kraft, Zuh\u00f6rer von der Generation X bis zur Generation Z in seinen Bann zu ziehen:

GJ106 tourte durch Europa und spielte \u00fcber 140 Konzerte und DJ-Sets. GJ106 hat mit zahlreichen Bands wie The Young Gods, Denuit, Larsovitch und anderen zusammengespielt und ist auch auf mehreren Festivals aufgetreten, wie dem Ombra Festival in Barcelona oder dem Electron Festival in Genf. Besonders erw\u00e4hnenswert ist der Auftritt als Vorgruppe von Front 242 im Jahr 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2728 Support Live-Act: Future Faces<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Musik von Future Faces ist kalt und eindringlich. Inspiriert von Coldwave l\u00e4sst die Genfer Band die Kl\u00e4nge der 80er Jahre in einer dunstigen Atmosph\u00e4re wieder aufleben, angetrieben von einer tiefen, fast monotonen Stimme, die zwischen repetitiven, melodischen Passagen, Stammesrhythmen und noisigen Anfl\u00fcgen wechselt.
Seit ihrer Gr\u00fcndung ist Future Faces mehrmals aufgetreten, unter anderem auf der B\u00fchne des Montreux Jazz Festivals 2018 und f\u00fcr Bands wie Rendez-Vous, Buzz Kull, Whispering Sons und zuletzt THE KVB im Jahr 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach einer Pause von Live-Auftritten, um sich auf das Schreiben neuer Musik zu konzentrieren, sind Future Faces bereit, die B\u00fchne wieder zu rocken. Die Band hat im November 2024 ihr zweites Album MEMORIA ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Auf der ersten Single des Albums ist die Stimme von Patrycja Proniewska zu h\u00f6ren, die als Frontfrau von Belgrado und Fatamorgana bekannt ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Quartett aus der Stadt Calvin tritt in eine neue k\u00fcnstlerische Phase ein, in der synthetische Kl\u00e4nge den Rahmen f\u00fcr die Erforschung versch\u00fctteter Erinnerungen und Emotionen bilden.

Cawatana wurde urspr\u00fcnglich 1999 in Budapest, Ungarn, gegr\u00fcndet. In ihrer \u201eVierteljahrhundert\u201c-Karriere haben sie ihre Musik auf verschiedenen Labels ver\u00f6ffentlicht, an internationalen Compilations teilgenommen, Konzerte in Ungarn sowie auf Tournee in verschiedenen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern gespielt, darunter zwei Auftritte auf dem bekannten und langj\u00e4hrigen Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, 2003 und 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach einer Pause kehrte das Projekt 2018 mit neuer Besetzung und einem aktualisierten Setup mit analogen Synthesizern, Drumcomputern, Sequenzern und Bassgitarre zur\u00fcck und orientierte sich neu in Richtung Minimal-Synth\/Minimal-Wave, Coldwave\/Darkwave und Post-Punk. 2023 nahmen sie ihre Live-Auftritte wieder auf. Im Jahr 2024 traten sie in der Fernsehsendung \u201eAz A38 Haj\u00f3 sz\u00ednpad\u00e1n\u201c des Ungarischen Nationalfernsehens auf. Als Er\u00f6ffnungsband des Dark Disco Festivals im kommenden Mai werden Cawatana erneut eine neue Saison ausserhalb Ungarns beginnen! Dok begann 2007 in Triest (Italien) als DJ aufzulegen und formte seinen Musikgeschmack im Herzen der Underground-Kultur der Region Friaul-Julisch Venetien und des nahe gelegenen Sloweniens.
Mit seiner Auswahl an tanzbarem Darkwave, klassischen Gothic-Tracks und Industrial-Elektronik bringt Dok eine magische Mischung aus dunklen Melodien und kraftvollen Rhythmen auf die Tanzfl\u00e4che.
Er ist Resident-DJ der Obsidian-Party und regelm\u00e4ssiger Gast bei Gothic-N\u00e4chten im Nordosten Italiens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EleNoir ist Darkwave- und Dark-Techno-DJ und Gr\u00fcnderin von Obsidian (darkwave fet!sh techno party) und lebt in Triest, Italien. Mit tiefen Wurzeln in der Gothic- und Darkwave-Musik erkundet ihr Sound dunkle, d\u00fcstere und aggressive elektronische Texturen.
EleNoir spielte auf dem Headlights Festival in Kroatien, Ljubljana und Zagreb und war Gast bei den exklusiven Veranstaltungen Decadence und Regina Nera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kontravoid’s masked mystique has remained for over a decade. Ever since the release of his self-titled LP in 2012, the Canadian-born, LA-based Cameron Findlay has perfected dark pop with a unique composition which moves eloquently through the EBM, electro and goth genres. His past releases, such as 2019’s “Too Deep” and 2021’s “Faceless,” have no trouble reaching the most derelict corners of foggy, strobe-lit clubs, leaving listeners with no choice but to dance. On stage, Kontravoid demands the audience’s attention with his powerful performance, masterfully balancing his specific concoction of harsh beats and signature rhythmic bass lines. He’s toured alongside Boy Harsher, ADULT., Drab Majesty and Hide, and has remixed the likes of Schwefelgelb and Kris Baha<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March 2024 Kontravoid released a new album, “Detachment”. A few months later he performed once again at the Wave Gothik Treffen in Leipzig to a huge crowd, which doubled in size since the last performance at the same festival in 2019. Truly a man of the shadows, Kontravoid is an unparalleled fixture in the dark electronic arena. He has been touring and promoting his album since last year both in EU and in the US and this spring he’s coming back for another round, finally hitting Eastern Switzerland!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A true product of its time, Swiss-French project GJ106 delivers a de-sacralised and resolutely modern EBM that ignites passions in the crowd. With GJ106, there’s no standing still behind the machines. Each performance is a unique, intense and dynamic experience where dance meets total synth mastery. His ice-cold DAF*-scented techno has the power to captivate listeners from Gen X to Gen Z.
Techno is dead. Long live techno!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GJ106 has toured European stages, performing over 140 concerts and DJ sets. Having shared the bill with numerous bands, like The Young Gods, Denuit, Larsovitch and others; GJ106 has also performed at several festivals, such as Ombra Festival in Barcelona or the Electron Festival in Geneva. Especially worth mentioning is the perfofmance as an opening act for Front 242 in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2728 Support live act: Future Faces<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music of Future Faces is cold and haunting. Inspired by Coldwave, the Geneva band revisits the sounds of the 80s in a hazy atmosphere, driven by a deep, almost monotonous voice that alternates between repetitive, melodic passages, tribal rhythms and noisy touches.
Since its creation, Future Faces has performed several times, including on stage at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2018, and for bands such as Rendez-Vous, Buzz Kull, Whispering Sons and, most recently, THE KVB in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After taking a break from performing live to focus on writing new music, Future Faces are ready to rock the stage again. The band released their second album MEMORIA in November 2024. The first single from the album features the voice of Patrycja Proniewska, known as the frontwoman of Belgrado and Fatamorgana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quartet from the city of Calvin is entering a new artistic phase in which synthetic sounds provide a framework for exploring buried memories and emotions.

Cawatana was originally formed in 1999 in Budapest, Hungary. In their “quarter of a century” long career, they have released their music on various labels, participated in international compilations, played concerts locally as well as on tour in different European countries, including two appearances at the well-known and long-running Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, in 2003 and 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a hiatus, the project returned in 2018 with a new line-up and an updated setup with analogue synths, drum machines, sequencers and bass guitar, reorienting themselves towards minimal synth\/minimal wave, coldwave\/darkwave and post-punk, and resumed playing live in 2023. In 2024 they appeared on the TV programme “Az A38 Haj\u00f3 sz\u00ednpad\u00e1n” on Hungarian National Television. Opening the Dark Disco Festival next May, Cawatana will once again start a new season of playing outside of Hungary! We’re really excited to have them in Eastern Switzerland for their first time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dok started DJing in Trieste (Italy) in 2007 and shaped his musical taste in the heart of underground culture of Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and nearby Slovenia.
With his selection of danceable darkwave, classic goth tracks, and industrial electronics, Dok brings a magic blend of dark tunes and powerful rhythms on the dancefloor.
He is resident DJ of Obsidian party and a regular guest at goth nights in north-east Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darkwave and dark-techno DJ, founder of Obsidian (darkwave fet!sh techno party), EleNoir is based in Trieste, Italy. With deep roots in goth and darkwave music, her sound explores dark, gritty, and aggressive electronic textures.
EleNoir played at the Headlights festival in Croatia, Ljubljana, Zagreb and was a guest at the exclusive Decadence and Regina Nera events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
